E3 Awards

Want to see why Assassin’s Creed® was one of the most talked about games of E3 2012? Check out all of the awards AC won last week.

We are thrilled to see so much excitement from our fans and press alike. We can’t wait for people to get their hands on the game this October 30th.

Game Trailers - Game of the Show
“As developers struggle to get one bug-free demo or multiplayer experience polished for E3 each year, Ubisoft smacks them all down with a whopping three separate single-player demos, and multiplayer to boot. Not to mention that the three demos show off entirely different styles of play within the same game. But more than just that, ACIII shows that no franchise is ever truly dead and with enough creative people on the team just about any IP can be revived and invigorated. Assassin’s Creed III is easily the most interesting, varied and polished game at the expo, making it our Best of Show for E3 2012”

GameSpot - Best of E3: Editors' Choice Awards
“The story of Connor Kenway's (Ratonhnhaké:ton) quest to hunt the Templars amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the American Revolution looks set to be one of the most majestic experiences of the year, and one that explores a rich period of history that is rarely tapped for video games outside of PC strategy games. That it is so much more than just "Assassin's Creed with the main guy jumping around in trees" shows that Ubisoft is really pushing the franchise forward and evolving the concept beyond the ideas we've seen in the last few iterations starring Ezio.”

IGN - Best of E3: Best Action Game
“Ubisoft has put a lot of time into refining the Assassin’s Creed experience, and it shows. While Connor still runs, climbs, hides and kills, he does it in a way Altair and Ezio never quite did, blending in with the world around him on a level previous games never achieved. The plot of Assassin’s Creed III is still shrouded in secrecy, but if the story is a match for the improvements to gameplay, this could easily be the best Assassin’s Creed yet.”
